Rheumy Reflections

Welcome to my first-ever post on my first-ever attempt to blog. If you're reading this, you're either enrolled in the same MLIS course at the University of Oklahoma as I am, or you just stumbled across it somehow. Either way, welcome!

Today's useless fact: The dry, crusty stuff that collects around your eyes when you sleep -- cleverly labelled "sleep," where I come from -- is called RHEUM by the biological/medical community.

Since I do most of my studying in the early-morning, still-dark hours, I suspect most of my posts will appear then, too. So, I'll be typing with one hand while the other is busy with rheum removal. *grin* For that reason, too, I'll keep the template colors as bright and cheery as possible -- helps me wake up.

Glad you stopped by!

Love the title and the sense of humor. I was a bit worried at first because I thought it was Rumy Reflections - figured you'd go on about unknown unknowns and going to Web with the blog you have and not the blog you wish you had.
